About our prints
Thistle Art produces several different ranges of prints on canvas. Our prints are printed using Epson UV resistant inks which are guaranteed light fast for 75 years. Our canvas prints are heatsealed to provide further protection before being stretched onto Redwood bars.
All of our canvas prints are 'gallery-wrapped' round the sides of the stretcher so that the printed image wraps round the sides of the frame ready for hanging. The canvas is stretched right round the frame and stapled neatly at the back to make sure there are no messy tacks or staples round the edges, then the staples are covered with gummed tape.
Many of our prints will soon also available on fine art papers and can be supplied rolled.
All our photographs and artwork are originated in house. Sorry we do not offer a printing service for customer's own images. However, we are happy to work on individual commissions to create new prints either by altering our existing images or producing bespoke photography or artwork to a client's brief.
